Information from Institute of Migration in Finland and subsequent investigation of passenger lists indicates that Aukusti and Kaisa Seura left Hanko, Finland on October 16, 1909 on the Astrea. They boarded the Mauretania in Liverpool on October 23 bound for New York. They arrived in New York on October 29. On the passenger list, they listed their last permanent residence and place of birth as Pudasjarvi and that Aukusti had a brother in Hetekyla, Pudasjarvi by the name of (unreadable) Seura. He gave his age as 24 and she as 27. They said they were going to join Kaisa's cousin Anne Poysko at 430 W. 14th St., New York, NY. Have looked at both the 1910 and 1920 Census and have found no entries for that address.
