Applied for grant in Salem, 1638, received ten acres. Moved to Gloucester before 1646. Moved to Casco Bay, Maine, settled in Back Cove, Falmouth, June 25, 1657. After 1668, made Lieutenant and placed in command of Falmouth militia. In King Philip War, property destroyed and son killed. In Dec 1657, returned to Salem with his family and sons' families. Back to Falmouth in 1680. At the threatening Indian disturbances in 1689, he moved back to Salem, escaping the second destruction of Falmouth in 1690.
He was born in 1617/18 at England. He married Elizabeth Unknown circa 1641/42. George Ingersoll died in 1693/94.
